Dr Qiang Qi, male, was born in the May of 1965. Dr Qi is a consultant and associate professor of the orthopaedic department of Peking university third hospital, he is also a mentor of the postgraduate student.
　　Dr Qi graduated and received his M.B. degree (in 1988)& M.D. degree (in 1993) from the Beijing medical university ( currently called Peking university medical school ) , which is the most famous medical school in the country.
　　Dr Qi had a very formal and strict orthopaedic training in China and United Kingdom. Since he was qualified as an orthopaedic surgeon, he has been dedicated himself to the medical care of orthopaedic patients. Dr Qi has gained wide experiences of dealing with the spinal disorders, joint diseases and trauma problems. Especially he is one of leading specialists and experts of the spinal surgery in the country, he has wide experiences in the diagnosing and treating of the spinal disorders, such as low back pain, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar stenosis, spondylolisthesis, revision surgery, thoracic and cervical spinal diseases, etc. Dr Qi was the pioneer to use the percutaneous laser disc decompression ( PLDD ) technique of treating the herniated lumbar discs in the country.
　　Dr Qi has fluent communication ability in English. He had the license and registration from the British general medical council (GMC ), had been an orthopaedic surgeon working in the royal hospital of England and Scotland during 1995 to 1998. Dr Qi also had working experience in Germany in 1999. He is very familiar with the medical care systems of western countries. He has long time relationship with the international orthopaedic societies and attend the international academic conferences regularly.
