Orthopedics Department is an assiduous, outstanding and effective group. In recent years, in order to make departments more cohesive so that the department can achieve healthy and sustained development, orthopedists, party leaders attached great importance to cultural development in the department.
Party branches in orthopedics, driven by orthopedic first started collecting departmental flag, departmental emblem and departmental motto. Many colorful group activities have been organized, such as visits to the Exhibition of the 20th Anniversary of Chinese Reform and Opening up, Li Dazhao home visits, visits to Xibaipo, and the visits Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base, Expanding movement, Learning the spirit of 17th Party Congress, free treatment in the countryside. All of these activities have all enriched the content and organization life in the department and enhanced the cohesion of the orthopedics department. Since the year of 2000, Orthopedics department began to change New Year’s party into unique integrated theatrical programs, which creates a department-wide platform for the participation of all members. All participating leaders of the department and other department have given a high praise to these recreational programs. Orthopedic also gradually formed its own characteristics consistent with department’s cultural atmosphere. The collective consciousness of all the workers in our department has steadily strengthened. Our staffs are all having a strong sense of pride and a sense of mission of being a member in the department.
Over the past few years, the cultural construction in orthopedic department has grown into a new level. Our department has gained “Peking University Outstanding Party Branch Award”, “PUTH Advanced Cultural Construction Department Award”, and the second prize of “Best Services Reward, “the Arts Festival Award”, and other honors.
