Liu Xiaoguang, MD, PhD, associate professor, associate chief Dr. master tutor.

Liu Xiaoguang was engaged in the clinical work, teaching and research of the spinal degenerative disease, tumor, trauma and minimally invasive surgery. The followed work, CT-guided percutaneous puncture for atlantoaxial lateral mass arthrodesis with bone graft, Radioactive particles implantation for the treatment of spinal tumor, CT-guided percutaneous biopsy of the intraspinal canal lesions, were first underwent in the world. And the following work, the radio-frequency therapy in the treatment of herniated discs, percutaneous vertebroplasty, percutaneous cervical operations under microendoscop, were first underwent in China. Many difficult spinal operations were performed. About 400 cases of spinal lesions biopsy were underwent , and the accuracy rate was 95.4%, which was advanced in the world. He has been to the U.S., France, Germany and Austria for learning and training. He obtained the young and middle-aged first-class disquisition award of the Chinese medical institute and the superexcellence award of the Peking University’s science forum. He is the major number of center subject task group of the sanitation, higher education, science and technology ministry. He is charged with the fund of “985”spine investigation of Peking University. He has published 24 disquisitions, and written some chapters of 2 books.
